Ballot papers for the Ymlaen Llanelli Renewal Ballot are due to land in businesses' mailboxes within the next few days, which means that voting can commence!

Businesses within the BID area with a rateable value of £5000 and over will be eligible to vote on whether they would like Ymlaen Llanelli to continue its work for the next five years, so if you're one of these businesses keep an eye out for your ballot papers in the post, and be sure to send off your vote as soon as possible!

Watch our Renewal Ballot video on below, featuring highlights of all our fab events!

We've been working hard over the past five years to support our town centre businesses, from creating a jam-packed annual programmes of events to increase footfall, to parking initiatives, tackling anti-social behaviour, and even offering free advertising and reopening packages to businesses when they needed it most, as well as so much more that we don't have the space to list here!

What we've achieved already is just the beginning - we've got so much planned to continue growing Llanelli town centre as a place to be, and now is our chance to ensure we can do so.

You can read all about our plans in our renewal ballot proposal, available to download here or by clicking the link below.

We're incredibly proud of the work we've done and we hope you see the value in it too - the only way we can continue all of these wonderful things is with your YES vote, so please be sure to vote!

How to vote

When you receive your ballot paper, cast your vote and follow the enclosed instructions to return your ballot paper. With lots of businesses closed under current restrictions, holding a ballot is going to be much tougher than normal, but we're trying to make sure everything is as easy as possible to vote.

If your ballot paper is delivered to your business address, please be sure to visit your premises to collect your ballot and vote. If you require a replacement or proxy ballot paper, please get in touch by phoning Mandy on 07803 503972 or sending an email to mandy.jenkins@themeans.co.uk

The ballot will remain open until 5pm on Thursday 4th March and any vote received after this time won't be counted. With current restrictions in place and post office schedules disrupted, we ask you to vote as early as possible to ensure your vote arrives in time.

If you have any questions about the renewal ballot, you can get in touch here. Please help us continue to help our town centre by voting yes and speading the word - thank you!
