Get ready to travel back in time this month as the Summer Dinosaur Trail begins! Eight dinosaurs will be lurking in businesses’ windows across the town centre for the school summer holidays - can you find them all?

Pick up a trail map from St Elli Shopping Centre and set off in search of the dinosaurs’ names – find all eight and take your completed map to Jenkins Bakery in Stepney Precinct for a free dino-themed treat, and be entered into the draw for the chance to win a bike!

The trail begins on Monday 19th July and ends on Wednesday 1st September, with a winner to be drawn and contacted shortly after the closing date.

Chair of Ymlaen Llanelli, Lesley Richards, says the prehistoric trail will help kickstart the summer fun in the town centre: “We can’t wait to get the trail started! As restrictions ease, we want to help people reconnect with their town centre and bring that spark back. Ymlaen Llanelli BID is known for our wacky and wonderful events programme, so while we can’t get back to events just yet, this really fits the bill! Where else would you find a t-rex browsing the shops?”

Saturday 17th July will also see the second venture of the Llanelli Monthly Food Market in the town centre, with a range of products on offer from local traders, in collaboration with Carmarthenshire Markets.
