We had a great time at our fourth annual Pancake Day Race yesterday!

11 teams from businesses in the town centre braced the cold and took part in a number of heats and semi-finals, with Team Davies Craddock fighting off the competition to win the Ymlaen Llanelli Pancake Cup.

Teams took part in four-person relay races, making sure to flip their pancakes along the way. Jenkins Bakery supplied plenty of pancakes for the race, and any spares were quickly taken care of!

Entry fees for the race were donated to the Sing With Us Tenovus Choir, who kept the spirits up through song during the races.

Last year's winners, the Market Traders, accepted defeat as they presented the Davies Craddock team with the prestigious pancake trophy.

Heats

• Heat 1: Davies Craddock win against Jenkins Team 1
• Heat 2: Market Traders win against MetBar
• Heat 3: Coedcae School win against Market Staff
• Heat 4: Heno (Tinopolis) win against Barclays
• Heat 5: Llanelli Town Council win against Jenkins Team 2 and Council Housing

Semi-Finals

• Semi-final 1: Davies Craddock win against Market Traders
• Semi-final 2: Llanelli Town Council win against Coedcae School and Heno

Final

• Davies Craddock win against Llanelli Town Council
