The day that many of us have been waiting for is finally here, as Llanelli’s indoor hospitality businesses can now reopen their doors once more!

To help celebrate, we've produced these fab Love Llanelli pin badges for businesses to give out for free to their customers, and they're now in stock across Llanelli town centre!

You can find these badges in both hospitality and retail businesses, so be sure to keep an eye out and ask for one at the counter!

We'll now hand the spotlight over to our hospitality businesses who have been eager to give a warm welcome back to their customers - from us, we'd like to say we hope you all have a wonderful reopening and we can't wait to see everyone in town soon!

Christine and Dave Evans – Thomas Arms: "We can’t wait to see the hotel open with our customers and guests in again, we really missed that great atmosphere and seeing all our regulars to catch up with them.

"We will be opening with same great menu and offers, so we have something for everyone, and we’ll have the same set of cleaning measures and using the Government Track and Trace for entry so that we can keep everyone safe. Customers and guests can now book online for their tables in readiness via Bookyourtable.Marstons.co.uk. You will be able to pop in also if we have free tables we can book you in on reception."

The York Palace manager, Danielle Phillips, said: "We are looking forward to reopening the pub. Our staff and customers have been away for a long time and we can’t wait to welcome them back. The York Palace is an important part of Llanelli’s social life."

Julie Warner – The New Drovers: "We are hopefully opening on 20th May at 7pm with our first pop up kitchen in a year! We're kicking off with French Cuisine - Chateaubriand - 4 courses. Booking is essential."

Daniel Davies – Clockwork Tavern: "We’re very excited to open the doors again, it’s been so long and we now need the support of everyone more than ever. It is a big year for sports with the Euros & British & Irish Lions Tour going ahead over the next few months, and with 3 big screens & 4 large TVs, where better to watch it than Clockwork Tavern! We have a big open space with separate entrance and exits, giving all our guests peace of mind when joining us during the Covid safety and regulations period."

Anand Shivaprasad – Mizpah: "We have new and exciting deals to offer our customers and cannot wait to welcome people back indoors."

Christine Lackey – Llanelly House – "The Llanelly House Team are very excited to be reopening for indoor dining on the 17th May ~ with the warmest of welcomes to wonderful customers old and new and our fresh new menu. It’s a delight also to introduce New House Manager, Mark Johns, joining our Family bringing a wealth of experience to the business including our amazing events and weddings. We can’t wait to bring you our unique Llanelly House (indoor) sparkle once more!"

Andrew Marzano – Marzano’s: "While we’ve been closed indoors we’ve taken the opportunity to fit new furniture, so we hope all our customers love the fresh new look. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone for a catch up, and don’t worry, we’ll still be setting up our outdoor area for the sunny days Llanelli is known for!"

Jim Bradley – Bradley's Coffee: "We’ve been excited to open our doors to the public since our move into Llanelli town centre earlier this year, and we’d like to thank everyone who’s supported us while we’ve been offering takeaways. We're pleased to finally be able to welcome everyone into the shop, and we can’t wait to get to know the locale."

Rebecca Lee – Joly's Café: "We are excited to reopen our doors and are equally excited to see the return of customers old and new. We are eager to show the fresh new face of Joly’s Café which has been proudly serving Llanelli for over 20 years."
