A huge cast of cartoon characters is set to take over Llanelli town centre this half-term as Llanelli Cartoon Capers returns on Tuesday 4th April!
Our free event will see a procession of over 40 cartoon characters making their way into Stepney Square at 12pm, alongside life-sized replicas of Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater.
The cars and characters will be around until 3pm to meet and greet all their fans, with other activities including fairground rides in Stepney Square, and face painting and glitter tattoos in St Elli Shopping Centre.
Chair of Ymlaen Llanelli, Lesley Richards, is looking forward to the day: “It’s been nearly four years since we last held this event, and we can’t wait to bring it back bigger and better than before. We have twice the number of characters attending this time, so the excitement levels in the town are through the roof, young and old alike!
“We hope everyone has a magical time at the event – just be sure to give yourself enough time to meet them all!”
Characters attending the event include Elsa and Anna, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Mirabel and Isabella, Mickey and Minnie, Mario and Luigi, Bluey and Sonic, and many more. We'll be releasing the full list of characters closer to the date on our Facebook page!
